Rasam is a spicy South Indian soup. While it is sometimes served on its own as a soup. Rasam has a distinct taste in comparison to sambar due to its own seasoning ingredients and is fluid in consistency.
Preparation
Boil tomatoes, dhal and garlic in 4 teacups of water, smash this to a puree and filter through a sieve to obtain the extract. To this, add 4 table spoons of Crosberry Rasam Powder and bring boil. Season with mustard, fenugreek, red chillies and curry leaves and serve hot.
